From Daycare Owner to Production Manager
Before joining Weather Shield, Kendra spent an impressive 14 years running her own daycare business. This experience honed her organizational skills, patience, and ability to juggle complex tasks—all of which have made her an invaluable asset to our team. Transitioning from childcare to production management might seem like a leap, but Kendra’s dedication and adaptability have made it a seamless and successful journey.
A Passion for Problem-Solving
When asked about her favorite aspects of the job, Kendra gave us an answer that showcases her unique approach to her work:
“The people I work with are definitely my favorite part. And the weird thing is, I actually enjoy figuring out orders. I never liked math—not even the easy stuff—but I get lost in calculating how much of what is needed. It’s so weird.”
This enthusiasm for tackling challenges head-on has made her an integral part of ensuring our projects run smoothly and efficiently. Whether it’s coordinating materials or ensuring every detail is accounted for, Kendra brings a problem-solving mindset that elevates our production process
A Love for Family, Baking, and Ducks!
Outside of work, Kendra is a dedicated family person who treasures spending quality time with her loved ones. She also enjoys reading, baking, gardening, and caring for her pet ducks—a fun and unique hobby that perfectly reflects her vibrant personality.
